Life in the Bay Area invariably involves bridges and traffic. Coming from SoCal, we don’t have the public transportation habit. Nevertheless, we’ve found the BART to and from downtown a great escape.

Mom and kids went to explore the local mountains and skied a couple of days at Lake Tahoe. First time for Natalie and she loved it! With all the rain this season, there was plenty of snow and deluxe accomodations at the Hyatt.
