After weeks of record rain falling at the house (and everywhere else in CA), kids has a fun day playing around the house. Even the lake got filled up to the rim!

Archive for January, 2005We had our first visitor from San Diego in the bay area … Yes, Helen (Dr. Young!) got hungry and made the Southwest commute, peanuts and all. Although it wasn’t as warm as in SD, we had a great excursion to the city (using bart of course) and had dinner at the grand cafe with memories of previous visit there with pa&ma. We also met Helen’s friend Molly who lives in the Bay Area.
First week of school has started…. and Nicholas is now at Sleep Hollow Elem School. Transition is going well so far. Second grade has two part time teachers and 17 kids.
