Yep, the truck showed up and all our stuff is now in the Orinda house…

Can’t believe that we had 14,400 pounds. Took 3 trips with the shuttle to get the stuff up the hill. Joe, the driver, is an amateur motorcycle racer so he had the priviledge of cruising the BMW up the hill.

The beds are setup and the homeowners project experience is about to start over again…

Did the inspection on the DosPosos house last week. Nothing new on the radar screen

As such, we spent the whole Thanksgiving weekend packing and weeding out our possessions. Scary how much stuff (‘junk’) gets piled up. After a couple of trips to the recycling center and goodwill, we’re making a good dent in the clutter.

Found out that a couple of backup offers have come in on the property. This weakens our negotiating power with Relo.

The end of the year is near and the move is starting to get near.

We’ve started escrow last week on our Del Mar home (3013 Caminito Sagunto) and have found a place in Orinda that we started escrow this monday.

Interestingly, the real estate agent has the weblink for the address. Gives you an idea to get your URL in case you want to sell your house…
Check it out www.32dosposos.com located near the orinda country club (which, of course, we can’t afford…)

bookmark the maplinkif you want to find your way there!

Work has started in the bay area. While we are pondering the move, I’ve been shacking up on the bay. A look at the back patio overlooking the Richmond point marina.

Another year has slipped by. First birthday in a long time without a job! (left Nanogen on Thursday, start new job on Tuesday). Had a great end of summer beach bash with wonderful friends, SoCal weather and some awesome waves.

Today was the last day of my 6 years at Nanogen. Since this is a publicly accessible blog with a publicly traded company, my comments are limited to the appreciation of all the friends, past and present, I have enjoyed at the ngen.

I will have to get used to not seeing Lance every week for the last 8 years, fortunately webcams, IM and blogs will narrow the gap for a while…
